NORTA is a real estate photography studio based in Moncton, New Brunswick. We shoot residential and commercial properties across the Greater Moncton area — Moncton, Dieppe, Riverview, and surrounding communities — with a focus on speed, consistency, and visual quality that makes a difference at the listing level.

01 · The story

Started with a camera, a drone, and a gap in the market.

NORTA started because the listings in Southeast New Brunswick deserved better than what was available. Too many properties were going to market with phone photos, dark interiors, and no aerial context — and the agents knew it, but didn't have a reliable local option that could deliver on time and on budget.

We built the studio around three non-negotiables: every photo is hand color-graded (no batch auto-processing), every gallery is delivered within 24 hours, and every client gets a private gallery link they can share in one click. That's it. No complicated packages, no hidden fees, no second visits.

The name NORTA doesn't stand for anything clever — it's short, it's clean, and it looks the way we want our work to look. Direct, professional, no filler.

02 · The approach

Four things we don't compromise on.

These aren't marketing copy — they're the operational rules the studio runs on. Every shoot, every gallery, every client interaction follows the same four principles.

Hand color-graded

Every photo is edited individually with manual color correction, HDR balancing, and vertical line correction. No batch presets, no auto-enhance, no shortcuts. The Premium tier adds object removal, sky replacement, and window pulls.

24-hour delivery

Gallery link in your inbox within 24 hours of the shoot. Not "1–3 business days," not "we'll get back to you." 24 hours, every time. If there's a delay, we tell you before it happens — but it hasn't happened yet.

Licensed & insured

Transport Canada licensed drone operator with $2M commercial liability insurance. Every aerial shoot is flown legally, safely, and with proper documentation. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we reschedule for free — no questions asked.

One photographer

Every project is shot by the same person — not outsourced, not delegated, not handed off to a contractor. That means consistent quality across every listing, and one point of contact from booking to delivery.

What's behind every shoot.

The tools and certifications that back the work. Not listed to impress — listed because agents and brokerages ask, and this saves the email.

Professional camera system

Full-frame mirrorless body, tilt-shift and ultra-wide lenses, flash kit for interior lighting. Tripod-mounted, bracketed for HDR on every shot.

Licensed drone operation

Transport Canada RPAS Advanced certification. $2M commercial liability insurance through Intact Insurance. Flight logs and documentation maintained for every session.

Editing workflow

Adobe Lightroom Classic and Photoshop. Manual color grading on calibrated displays. Luminosity masking, HDR merge, and per-window exposure correction as standard.

2D floor plans

Laser measurement on site, drafted in dedicated floor plan software. Included with every photo package at no extra charge.

Client gallery platform

Private gallery links with optional passcode protection. Full-resolution downloads, MLS-ready exports, and one-click sharing to brokerage or brochure teams.

$2M liability insurance

Full commercial liability coverage for both ground and aerial work. Certificate of insurance available on request for property managers and commercial clients.

04 · Service area

Southeast New Brunswick — no travel fee.

Standard rates apply within the Greater Moncton area with no additional travel charge. For properties further than 40km from downtown Moncton, we'll quote a small travel supplement — usually $25–$50 depending on distance.

  • Moncton — all neighbourhoods and surrounding suburbs
  • Dieppe — including Fox Creek, Dover, Chartersville
  • Riverview — including Gunningsville, Bridgedale, Pine Glen
  • Petitcodiac — by arrangement, small travel supplement may apply
  • Shediac & Shediac Bridge — summer season priority
  • Memramcook, Hillsborough, Salisbury — by arrangement
